Ariana Grande’s Twitter hacker may have said some harsh words while they had access to the “Dangerous Woman” singer’s account almost two weeks ago, but that doesn’t mean any of her relationships were damaged in the process.

On Tuesday, the singer expressed her affection for friend Nicki Minaj, who she has worked with on several songs, after a fan brought to her attention that she and Minaj’s latest song together has gone platinum.

“@ArianaGrande’s ‘Side To Side’ featuring @NickiMinaj has been certified 3X platinum by @RIAA, Congratulations girls,” the fan tweeted.

“Wow. Thank you my babies!! I love you I miss you @nickiminaj,” she replied.

Not long after her tweet, Minaj couldn’t help but gush about her latest achievement with Grande, as well as the success she found with a new song she recently released. “Ok, so #BangBang is Quadruple Platinum & #SideToSide is Triple Platinum? I love this little lady @ArianaGrande and I miss you too munchkin,” Minaj tweeted.

Although triple platinum is quite impressive, a fan later corrected Minaj revealing that “Side to Side” is 5x platinum.

Grande and Minaj’s celebration of success and Twitter interaction comes days after the “Into You” singer’s Instagram account was hacked and the person responsible threatened Minaj.

Fans were initially shocked when they began to see several obscene posts shared to Grande’s account on Aug. 4. In one of the now deleted posts, the hacker bragged about being in a gang. Minaj then commented on the post with a thinking face emoji and the hacker replied by threatening the rapper and telling her she is next.

The “Regret in Your Tears” rapper never responded, but seeing as she and Grande recently expressed their sentiments for one another on Twitter, it is unlikely that she ever took the threat to heart.

Over on Instagram, Minaj was still basking in the glow of all her success. Not only did her record with Grande go platinum multiple times, but another one of her songs, “Swalla” with Jason Derulo, has also had success. The rapper revealed just how grateful she was that these songs came to her.

Minaj expressed her feelings in an Instagram post featuring photos of the records. “Both of these songs were sent to me during my off season when I was turning everything down & being painfully reclusive. I remember rolling out of bed for both of these even tho I rlly just wanted to watch reruns of ‘Snapped’ & ‘Forensic Files,’” she explained.

The “No Frauds” rapper then thanked the two artists for allowing her to be featured on their records. “Now they’ve both gotten me so many plaques in so many diff countries. Thank you to Ari & Jason for trusting me w/your work. To the ppl all around the world who show us your support, I love you,” she wrote.

Minaj went on to tease a bit of information about her highly anticipated fourth album. “I have some great things in store for my day 1’s...and I will elaborate on that time in my life on my 4th album,” she wrote.

Although Minaj has released and been featured on several songs this year, a release date for her fourth studio album has yet to be announced.
