President Obama did not let briefings on Libya ruin his vacation at Martha's Vineyard this weekend. In between briefings, Obama packed in golf, time at the beach, a stop at a seafood restaurant, and a visit to a wealthy friend's seaside compound.

The Obama family is spending ten days at the Blue Heron Farm, an expansive $20 million estate in the Chilmark section of Martha's Vineyard.

The property contains a five-bedroom main house, a Cape Cod guest house, a gym, a swimming pool, a golf practice tee, a stretch of beach, and a half-court basketball court -- a big seller for Obama, a huge fan.

It seems when he's not enjoying the surroundings, Obama will be doing a great deal of reading. He visited the Bunch of Grapes bookstore over the weekend, purchasing The Bayou Trilogy by Daniel Woodrell, a series of crime stories, and Roudin's Debutante by Ward Just, a novel set in Obama's hometown of Chicago.
