Barack Obama got candid and proudly shared the multiple qualities of his wife, Michelle, and their daughters, Sasha and Malia, in his new book.

The former president's memoir "A Promised Land" is already out. In the book, Obama shared more personal details about his family, including Michelle's workout and their daughters' confidence.

"They all have multiple bad--s qualities," he was quoted by People, as saying while referring to the three women in his life.

"I think people know Michelle well enough to know how amazing she can be as a public speaker. They probably are less aware of what it’s like to work out with Michelle when she’s really in her groove," the ex-POTUS said of his wife.

"And sometimes that includes her boxing. You don’t want to get in the way when she’s working on a bag — including some kicks. There’s force there."

When it comes to his daughters, Malia, 22, and Sasha, 19, Obama praised their confidence and buoyancy. He is particularly impressed with Sasha for not getting intimidated easily and is proud of how Malia enjoys life.

"Sasha is, as Malia describes it, completely confident about her own take on the world and is not cowed or intimidated — and never has been — by anybody’s titles, anybody’s credentials. If she thinks something’s wrong or right, she will say so," Obama added.

Sasha's strength was on full display when they visited Russia. She was only 6 years old or younger during the trip and they persuaded her to taste caviar, but she refused because it was "slimmy" and "nasty." Sasha said she would not do it even if she had to give up dessert.

"And that part of her character has always been there," Obama noted.

Meanwhile, he described his other daughter as "buoyant." Obama said Malia enjoys people, life and conversation. Malia never gets bored and has a "bada-- quality that can take you to places,” according to him.

Obama dedicated his book to Michelle, Malia and Sasha. In a post on Instagram, he also mentioned how growing up without a dad influenced his parenting. He promised to be always there for his family when he and Michelle welcomed their firstborn.

In the book, the former president also shared how the presidency affected his marriage to Michelle. He admitted that there was a time when he felt Michelle was happier when they were not in the White House and his heart ached at the thought that they might not be able to return to those times.
