Jay-Z also released a new song dedicated to his daughter called Glory.

Beyonce and Jay-Z, whose real name is Shawn Carter, got married on April 4, 2008. The couple announced their pregnancy at the MTV Video Music Awards last year.

It seems the couple tried to have a child before, but Beyonce suffered a miscarriage. Jay-Z made mention of the unfortunate incident in the song Glory.

Last time the miscarriage was so tragic we was afraid you'd disappear, but nah, baby, you magic, Jay-Z rapped on the song.

It has been reported that the name Blue Ivy has special meeting for the new parents, as Blue is allegedly Jay-Z's favorite colour and the number four (written as IV in Roman numeral) is Beyonce's favorite number.

Reports are that Beyonce and baby Blue Ivy left Lenox Hill hospital earlyTuesday morning.
