BlackBerry and T-Mobile recently announced a partnership deal. As a result, the new BlackBerry Classic smartphone will be available from T-Mobile starting Wednesday via its online store. In addition, buyers can also purchase the device at participating stores across the U.S. beginning Friday.

The BlackBerry Classic is already available from AT&T and Verizon. It ios available from T-Mobile using the Un-carrier plan. T-Mobile is reportedly offering the handset for no money down and 24 monthly payments of $18.33. If buyers want to purchase the device without the monthly payment plan, the outright price is $439.92, notes BlackBerry’s official website. Notably, the highlight of the device is the retro QWERTY keypad for enterprise users.

As for specifications, the BlackBerry Classic handset features a 3.5-inch square touch display with 720 x 720 pixels screen resolution, which translates to a pixel density of 294 ppi. The thickness and weight of the handset are 0.40-inch and 6.28 ounces, respectively. The device is powered by a dual-core (Qualcomm MSM8960) SoC clocked at 1.5 GHz and backed by 2 GB of RAM. On the software end, it runs on the BlackBerry 10 operating system.

Speaking of camera configuration, the BlackBerry Classic houses an 8 MP rear-facing unit packed with LED flash, 5x digital zoom and HD video recording, in addition to a 2 MP front-facing shooter for selfies with 3x digital zoom. When it comes to memory, the phone comes equipped with 16 GB of internal storage capacity and microSD card support for expansion up to 128 GB. Furthermore, the entire configuration is powered by a solid Li-Ion 2,515 mAh non-removable battery unit. According to BlackBerry, this battery unit can provide up to 17.2 hours of GSM talk time and 15.2 days of GSM stand-by time. Aside from the standard connectivity options, the Classic handset also supports NFC and LTE. Plus, the device employs nano-SIM and it comes in four different hues: black, white, blue and bronze.
