‘Bringing Up Bates’ Star Whitney Bates Confirms Second Pregnancy, Baby No. 2 Due Date On Instagram

The Bates will be welcoming another family member in 2016. On Thursday, following the Season 3 premiere of UPtv’s “Bringing Up Bates,” Whitney and Zach Bates announced they are expecting their second child. Whitney reconfirmed the pregnancy news on Instagram.

“There is no way to put into words the joy and excitement that we are feeling about having a new baby,” Whitney wrote. The reality star says she’s most excited for their 1-year-old son Bradley to have a little brother or sister. “Not only are we rejoicing about a new addition, but we are happy that Bradley is going to have a new sibling to play with. We know that God says children are a blessing, and now we are experiencing the truth of it in our own family!”

If that news wasn’t exciting enough for “Bringing Up Bates" fans, Whitney has also revealed her due date. Her Instagram post included a shot of the family of three holding up a sign that says, “Our family is growing by 2 feet and 1 heart. Baby Bates is due to arrive in Summer 2016.”

While viewers had to wait until Thursday’s premiere to find out which Bates was expecting — the network teased it may be Zach’s sisters Alyssa, Michael or Erin — Whitney did hint she may be pregnant again on New Year’s Day. “We thank God for all the many blessings he has blessed us with in 2015 and look forward to what he has in store for us in the future!” she wrote on Instagram. “He is so good and deserves all the praise as we enter in to 2016.”

Whitney and Zach’s second baby with the fourth grandchild for Zach’s parents, Kelly Jo and Gil Bates. Alyssa and John Webster welcomed daughter Allie in April 2015. Erin and Chad Paines were the last couple to have a baby. Their son, Carson, made his debut in May.
