Casey Anthony Trial

It seems the question of really killed Caylee Anthony is no longer the concern of the public or the media. Instead, the more fashionable trend is to know Casey Anthony! The public, it appears, hungers for information about the kind of person she is, her partying style, her habits and her quotes on various matters, all of which seem to be more important than the little girl who died.

Casey Anthony, it appears, is definitely a celebrity, further proof of which lies in the fact that she has been compared to Hollywood stars like Angeline Jolie. More recently, it is believed, E! True Hollywood Story (which may mean that Caylee Anthony's death has now become a Hollywood story, rather than a crime that needs to be solved), is all set to air interviews with Anthony's former boyfriends, high-school friends and a few others close to her, in an effort to help the public know Casey better.

All of which means that an unsolved homicide will join the high-profile and glamorous world of entertainment and there will probably be a number of viewers waiting very eagerly for the show to be aired. If you're one of them - you can catch the show at 10 p.m. on Wednesday on the E! Network.

The parade of people who will attempt to better educate the public about Casey includes her former defense attorneys, journalists with intimate knowledge of the case and, of course, the famous-in-her-own-right Zenaida Gonzalez (Zanny the nanny, in case you didn't know), who was falsely implicated in Casey's statements to the police, according to TBO.com

Much, it is rumored, is expected from the acquitted Casey Anthony, including making millions from selling entertainment rights to her story and a possible career in pornography! The 25-year-old was, according to ex-boyfriend Brandon Snow, a party girl and the person to go to if you wanted to hang out [or] go party because she was always down.

We believe it a gross injustice that the July 2008 gruesome murder of two-year-old Caylee seems long forgotten amidst the attention showered on a recently acquitted suspect, simply because the latter is young, looks pretty and is, crucially, alive.

Casey was very smart and very popular. She was someone that everyone pretty much kind of knew, Casey's former classmate, Angel Rivera had to say about her, according to the report. That sounds like something you can't really deny, considering the media frenzy around her despite her disappearance from the public view.

The drama ran for three years and drew, from the very beginning, mixed reactions from the public. There were (and still are) people who firmly believe that Anthony is guilty and that the court did not serve justice to little Caylee by acquitting her mother, while others are convinced of her innocence. The public hatred of Casey Anthony is so high that she has been issued death threats by unknown people.

You follow someone around, let's say 24/7, then you only play on to two hours of their most difficult time, that does not define that individual. That was an unfair portrayal of her, says Dorothy Clay Sims, a defense attorney. Casey Anthony's personal pictures of her partying with friends and even making out with her boyfriend are all out and swirling around the Internet and have certainly affected the way people look at her, apart from what was produced in court in her defense.

Meanwhile, no one knows for sure what exactly happened to Caylee. Neither have the reasons behind her disappearance been explained nor have the people responsible been brought to justice.
