A letter containing an unknown white powder, addressed to Dancing with the Stars, was received at a CBS TV studio in Los Angeles Wednesday.

This is the second time that the CBS TV studio has received an unknown, white powdery substance in the last few months, the Los Angeles Times reported.

A call was made to the authorities as soon as the powdery substance was found. It was around 3 p.m. and the letter was found at the studio on the 7800 block of Beverly Boulevard, said The Hollywood Reporter.

Los Angeles Police Department officials declared the powder to be harmless.

A similar substance was found in a letter addressed to Late Show host Craig Ferguson. That substance too was deemed harmless.

Ferguson later joked about the incident on Twitter: Finally some office drama that isn't about Craig's hair! FYI: The hair is hot. Anthrax scare, not so much.
