According to reports, Demi Moore has plans to punish Ashton Kutcher financially in their divorce proceedings announced last week.

The Daily Mail reported that a source said 49-year-old Moore directly instructed her lawyers to punish him financially following her official divorce announcement on Thursday.

Although the former couple signed a prenuptial agreement when they wed in 2005 to protect Moore's $150 million worth, the tables have turned. Moore is reportedly trying to get a hunk of 33-year-old Kutcher's $140 million fortune. Originally the pauper of the marriage, Kutcher now makes about $800,000 per episode for his role in Two and a Half Men.

With a pre-nuptial agreement, Ashton should be sitting pretty, an anonymous source told the Daily Mail.

These agreements are designed to protect one's earnings during the marriage as well as one's pre-nuptial assets. But Demi is furious, raging in fact - you only have to look at every photo you see of her to see the toll Ashton's cheating has taken on her. She wants to punish him financially because of the way he has broken her heart. She is talking about going after a share of what he has earned since their marriage on the grounds that she contributed to much of what he has achieved. She is going to give him a bitter fight and, whether or not she wins, it will be an expensive lesson for him.

The expensive lesson surrounds a cheating scandal Kutcher reportedly engaged in during the time the couple was married. Kutcher allegedly cheated with a 23-year-old woman named Sara Leal in San Diego, the same night of Kutcher and Moore's sixth wedding anniversary. The incident was reportedly not the only act of indiscretion from Kutcher, as a 21-year-old woman named Brittney Jones said she had sex with Kutcher in the couple's home in Los Angeles.

Since the incident, the marriage has been slowing falling apart, though they reportedly underwent therapy sessions to salvage the relationship.

Moore announced on Thursday that the couple would be filing for divorce.

It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I have decided to end my six-year marriage to Ashton, Moore told The Associated Press. As a woman, a mother and a wife there are certain values and vows that I hold sacred, and it is in this spirit that I have chosen to move forward with my life. This is a trying time for me and my family, and so I would ask for the same compassion and privacy that you would give to anyone going through a similar situation.

Moore divorced her former husband Bruce Willis in 2000, with whom she has three daughters with: Rumer, 23, Scout, 20 and Tallulah, 17.

According to the report from The Daily Mail, Moore has the support from her former husband.

Bruce told her he is in her corner, the source said.
