'Destiny 2': Exalted Truth Hand Cannon God Rolls Guide
KEY POINTS
- Exalted Truth only drops from the Trials of Osiris
- It competes with the likes of Palindrome and Austringer
- The gun comes with numerous elite PvP perks
The Exalted Truth is one of the newer offerings in the Trials of Osiris loot pool in "Destiny 2," and it has quickly proven itself to be a top-tier PvP option in both threes and sixes, despite the reigning pulse and scout rifle meta.
Although this gun has little to offer in terms of PvE utility, it compensates for this by having a wide range of elite PvP perks that give it a noticeable edge over most of the other firearms in its category. Its base stats and trait selection are enough to make it compete against true heavyweights like the Palindrome and Austringer.
To get the Exalted Truth, "Destiny 2" players only really need luck and enough courage to play the Trials playlist.
Before reaching seven wins in one card, all loot can only be obtained via Engrams that are rewarded after reaching a new rank with Saint-14. Passing the seven-win threshold enables random drops after every match.
Players who really want to get a good Exalted Truth can opt to spend resources at Saint-14's vendor window. Just keep in mind that a single weapon costs one Trials Engram, a bunch of Glimmer and 100 Legendary Shards.
Exalted Truth God Rolls
This Hand Cannon has a lot to offer when it comes to playstyles. With a base range of 50, it can three-tap Guardians that are at least 36.7 meters away with the following max range roll:
- Full Bore
- Accurized Rounds
- Rangefinder
- Encore
Its effective range can be bumped up further with an Adept Range mod and even more so once players get Encore up to three stacks. With this roll, Exalted Truth can compete even with most 450RPM Pulse Rifles in many of the game's mid-long-range sightlines.
Players who don't like Rangefinder's zoom increase can opt for Killing Wind instead. Meanwhile, Encore can be replaced with lethality perks like Rampage and Kill Clip. The gun can also roll with Eye of the Storm for that increase in reliability whenever the player takes damage.
The one true caveat with the Exalted Truth is that it can come with the cursed combo of Slickdraw and Gutshot Straight. Avoid this at all costs as the aim assist reduction brought by these two perks makes the gun extremely difficult to use.
