The death of disco legend Donna Summer at age 63 has hit the entertainment community hard as celebrities shared their memories of the Last Dance singer Thursday on Twitter.

Summer was battling cancer when she died Thursday in Florida. 

Summer was a 5-time Grammy winner who shot to the top of the charts in the '70s with iconic hits like Last Dance, Hot Stuff and Bad Girls.

Summer married Brooklyn Dreams singer Bruce Sudano in 1980. They had two daughters together.

The disco singer's death led to a number of trending topics on Twitter, including Donna Summer, Queen of Disco, and Last Dance - the song Summer is best known for.
