Is Philip (Tyler Young) finally coming forward as a witness to the triple murder in next week’s episode of “Eyewitness”?

In the trailer for Season 1, episode 8, titled “The Larsons’ Dog,” Helen (Julianne Nicholson) tells Lukas (James Paxton) that she has a reason to believe that the killer is still alive. She seeks Kamilah’s (Tattiawna Jones) help to keep him safe.

The killer, however, has an ingenious plan to get rid of Lukas. According to the synopsis for the episode, Ryan — who is the one responsible for the series of murders in Tivoli — romances Kamilah to get close to the motocross rider.

Lukas has no idea that Ryan is coming for him. And while he feels pretty secure that nothing bad will happen to him now that Kamilah is there to protect him, his secret lover Philip (Tyler Young) starts to worry about his own safety.

“What about me? [The killer] saw me too!” Philip asks Lukas in the preview clip.

“No one can find us here. As long as you just stay with me and Helen, you’re safe,” replies Lukas, trying to calm Philip down.

That, however, doesn’t stop Philip’s anxiety. So could his serious concerns about his safety force him to reveal to Helen that he, too, was in the cabin in the night of the triple murder? Only time will tell.

Apparently, Philip and Lukas aren’t the only ones who are in a dangerous position because as Helen gets closer to the truth, she gives Ryan all the more reason to take her out of the equation. And that’s probably what Ryan is trying to do when he aims his gun at the sheriff’s back at the end of the trailer.

While live-tweeting last night’s Season 1, episode 7, titled “They Lied,” Young and series creator Adi Hasak teased the last three episodes of the installment. See their tweets below:
