Amid fan reactions on who finally gets to sit on the Iron Throne, well, sort off, loyal viewers of “Game Of Thrones” could not help but swoon over one of the series’ forgotten characters who made an unexpected appearance in the finale episode, which aired Sunday.

Spoiler Alert: Key details of the “Game of Thrones” series finale are discussed below.

Regardless of whether fans agreed with Tyrion Lannister’s decision to appoint the Ruler of the Six Kingdoms (after Sansa Stark demanded Winterfell remain independent and separate from the Seven Kingdoms) through a committee vote, there was no missing the presence of an all-grown-up Robin Arryn - no longer the spoilt brat who greeted viewers in the first season, seen at the time being breastfed by his mother, Lysa of House Tully, although he was way past his infancy.

In the finale, the 18-year-old character, who had grown up into a handsome man, took fans by surprise as no one expected to see him ever again. Viewers took to Twitter to post memes and reactions, as they drooled over the actor, who, social media users claimed, had gone through a “glow-up.” According to Urban Dictionary, a “glow-up” meant “To go from the bottom to the top to the point of disbelief. An incredible transformation.”

The following are a few tweets where people could not stop talking about Arryn:

Played by Brazilian actor Lino Facioli, Arryn was the son of Lysa and Jon Arryn, the former Hand of the King who died before the start of the series. After his father’s death, he became the new Lord of the Vale. Even as a 10-year-old, who suckled at his mother’s breasts, Robin was quick to demonstrate how terrifying he was as a child when he ordered Tyrion – captured by Catelyn Stark and taken to Vale – to be thrown out of the Moon Door, which meant death.

A 14-year-old Robin was seen in Season 4, when Petyr Baelish brought Sansa to the Eyrie, secretly whisking her away from King's Landing in the wake of Joffrey Baratheon's death. Although Lysa planned to have her son married to Sansa, the plan was foiled by Baelish, who threw Lysa out of the Moon Door. Robin was last seen in Season 6, where he was seen horribly wielding a sword after being sent to Lord Royce by Baelish to learn how to fight with weapons and become a man.

No one heard from or saw Robin again, till Sunday’s episode where he was given a place in the voting committee, where he agreed with the majority to declare Bran Stark the King of Westeros.
