The Sunnyvale, Calif., search engine and media company said Barrett will join July 1 with responsibility for advertising and global operations. Levinsohn said Barrett's experience will help us drive our strategic vision.
Barrett has been CEO of digital advertiser AdMeld until Google acquired it for $400 million. He had worked with Levinsohn when both were executives of Rupert Murdoch's News Corp. (NYSEL NWS).
