Joanna Lumley commented on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's upcoming wedding.

Lumley is a friend of Prince Charles and is a fan of the royal family. Thus, it's not surprising that she loves Prince Harry's fiancée too.

"I think Meghan is enchanting. She has fabulous exotic parentage, is in our business and has been married before; this is fantastic," the BAFTAs 2018 host said (via Daily Express) about the "Suits" actress.

Just like Markle, Lumley divorced her ex-husband Jeremy Lloyd. According to her, it's no longer new for someone to marry a divorcee just as the case of Prince Harry marrying Markle. In fact, she felt that the upcoming royal wedding reflects the marriage in "today's world."

"This is today's world. She's marrying a prince, who is a darling boy and fought for his country. All these things bode well for the future," Lumley said in an interview with Hello!

Many are taking Prince Harry and Markle's relationship positively especially that the "Horrible Bosses" is the first woman of color to join the royal family. The couple's royal engagement exposes the "quiet" racism in the U.K. but it gives hope to many.

"Britain is still racist, it's still very racist," said Paula Akpan, co-founder of Black Girl Festival, after Markle received backlash due to her relationship with Prince Harry.

Meanwhile, Danielle Belton, managing editor of The Root, an online magazine for black culture, revealed that Prince Harry and Markle's romance gave hope to the women of color. It convinced them that it's not impossible to find their own prince charming too.

"It's a fantasy where even though you didn't get Prince Harry, part of you thinks maybe I could've ... maybe he was available," Belton said.

"By seeing Meghan Markle...and just seeing that she already had a great career it means a lot to us because it means that there's hope for us in our personal lives," added Kimberly Foster, founder of For Harriett, an online community centered on black women.

Prince Harry and Markle are tying the knot on May 19 at St. George Chapel in Windsor Castle. The couple is expected to feature Princess Diana in their wedding ceremony.

"There will undoubtedly be an aspect or aspects of the wedding service that will link with Diana, perhaps by including one of her favourite hymns, 'I Vow to Thee My Country' which was sung at her funeral," said royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams.
