Katie Holmes, Suri Cruise Photographed Together Following Tom Cruise ‘Estranged Dad’ Report

Katie Holmes, 40, and Suri Cruise, 13, happily bonded this weekend following a report that claimed Tom Cruise is not allowed to have a relationship with his daughter due to his affiliation to the Church of Scientology.

On Saturday, the “Dawson’s Creek” alum and her teenaged daughter were photographed at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre in Manhattan as they prepared to watch the new stage adaptation of Moulin Rouge. In the photos obtained by Daily Mail, the mother-daughter duo is seen making their way through the security line.

For their special bonding, Holmes donned a short dress adorned with multicolored paisley square patches. She also wore a brown leather belt around her waist and opted for open-toe heels with brown straps.

As for Suri, she looked wonderful in a cream-colored dress with floral patterns. She paired it with pale pink sandals. While Suri decided to wear her brunette hair down over her back, her mom chose to pile her tresses up in a high bun.

Katie and Suri’s sighting comes days after Us Weekly exclusively revealed that the “Top Gun: Maverick” actor has become an “estranged dad” because the Church of Scientology has prohibited him from having any sort of relationship with his youngest daughter.

The entertainment news outlet got the information from a former Scientologist named Samantha Domingo. True enough, the last time Cruise, 57, and Suri were seen together was way back in 2013, a year after Holmes filed for divorce.

According to Domingo, the actor is “not allowed” to interact with Suri because the latter is not part of the church. She also claimed that the final public appearance of the two could just be a photo op designed “to make it seem like he was connected so he wouldn’t be criticized.”

Tom and Katie got engaged in 2005, seven weeks after they first met each other. They then welcomed their daughter in April 2006, which was seven months before they tied the knot. They separated six years later.

At present, Holmes is dating another Hollywood actor, Jamie Foxx, 51. The two of them started seeing each other in August 2013. Through the years, they’ve managed to keep their relationship private. But this year, they made it official by attending the 2019 Met Gala together as a couple.
