Katy Perry and John Mayer are the latest couple to hit the rumor mill. The two have been spotted out multiple times now with most of them being at night and in posh celebrity hangouts.

The first sighting came when Mayer and Perry were seen spending quality time together at Soho House in West Hollywood on June 19. "They were affectionate, holding hands and cuddling!" an observer told Us Weekly.

The next night, the "Friday Night" singer, 27, reportedly had Mayer, 34, as a house guest where they ate pizza together.

Most recently, Mayer and Perry were seen leaving the Chateau Marmont hotel in West Hollywood together.

While it's currently unclear whether the two are dating, the sighting is provoking rumors that the two are more than just friends.

Russel Brand, after 14 months of marriage, filed for divorce from Perry on December 30, 2011. The announcement of the divorce followed media speculation that the couple was having marital problems, including an Us Weekly report that they had got into a "massive fight" and spent Christmas 2011 on opposite sides of the globe.

Us Weekly also reported back in June that the songstress has also been casually dating Florence and the Machine rocker Robert Ackroyd.

Mayer on the other hand has been quiet on the dating front as of late. Apparently more focused on his career, Rolling Stone called Mayer's latest release, "Born and Raised," his "loosest" yet. Rolling Stone music critic Jon Dolan gave Mayer's fifth LP four out five stars saying that album's "stylistic change-up and unburdening tone make for some of the most convincing music of Mayer's career."

The album debuted at Number one on the Billboard 200 chart with 219,000 copies sold in its first week, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
