Kim Kardashian $2 Million Engagement Ring
Kris Humphries is not suing Kim Kardashian for millions as previously reported -- but it appears he has good reason to be concerned about how he is portrayed on "Kourtney and Kim Take New York." Reuters

Reports that Kris Humphries was planning to sue his soon-to-be-ex-wife Kim Kardashian are not true, but footage from Sunday night's premiere of Kourtney and Kim Take New York suggests the show will not paint a pretty picture of the NBA star.

Life & Style magazine first broke the news about Humphries' alleged multi-million dollar lawsuit against his soon-to-be ex-wife.

In addition to feeling entitled to compensation for his role on Kourtney and Kim Take New York, a source reportedy told Life & Style that Kris is also suing because he's really worried about how badly he's going to be portrayed on the series.

And perhaps Humphries should be worried -- but apparently not enough to take Kim to court. An insider told Gossip Cop that the lawsuit rumor was completely false. Another source told TMZ that relations between Kim and Kris are cordial and that Humprhies still loves his wife of 72 days.

Season four of Kourtney and Kim Take New York promises to focus on Kris and Kim's ill-fated romance -- according to a review in the Boston Herald, the season premiere opens with news clips of the divorce announcement.

Preview footage of the now hourlong reality series does little to dispel an Us Weekly report that Humphries was less than kind to Kim during their brief union.

He belittled her in front of people, an unnamed friend of Kardashian's told Us Weekly. He'd call her stupid. It was truly sickening.

Humphries reportedly demanded the royal treatment when out at clubs in NYC and L.A., and was dismissive of Kim's pleas that he stay in for quiet nights at home.

He would tell her she was acting like too much of a wife and 'get over it,' another insider told Us Weekly.

Humphries reportedly called Kim fat ass, and insisted that her fame was fleeting.

In one preview of the E! reality show, Kris comments that Kim ate a lot of wedding cake, and in another, he dismissed her concerns about moving to Minnesota and out of the spotlight: Baby, by the time you have kids, no one will probably care about you.

Here's a clip of Kris teasing his wife about her weight:

And here he is telling her that she will soon be irrelevant:

An unnamed source told RadarOnline that Kardashian filed for divorce after viewing rough footage of the show, and was reportedly mortified when she saw the way that Kris was treating her.

The source told RadarOnline that Kardashian will be portrayed as the victim, and Kris will definitely be the bad guy. (Though Kim is not an executive producer on the show, she reportedly has full editorial control over what footage is aired.)

Kim will be using the show to attempt to rehab her image, the source said.

Season four of Kourtney and Kim Take New York premieres Sunday night at 10 p.m. on E!.
