‘Legends Of Tomorrow’ Season 2 Characters
The Legends are going to fix a time aberration during the American Revolutionary War in Season 2, episode 11 of “Legends of Tomorrow.” The CW

The Legends will try to preserve the outcome of the American Revolutionary War in Season 2, episode 11 of “Legends of Tomorrow.”

According to the synopsis for the episode, titled “Turncoat,” the team travels to the winter of 1776 to protect George Washington, who serves as commander-in-chief of the continental army during the American Revolutionary War.

The American Revolutionary War, which lasted from 1775 to 1783, was an armed conflict between Great Britain and 13 of its North American colonies. The war mainly had its origins in the resistance of several Americans to particular taxes and Parliamentary acts, which they claimed were unjust and illegal. The North American colonies won the war, with Great Britain recognizing the independence of the colonies, which were later called the United States of America.

Arthur Darvill, who plays Rip Hunter on the series, was spotted filming a couple of scenes for the episode at the North 40 Reserve Park in Delta, British Columbia in Canada last November. In a photo captured by YVRShoots, the 34-year-old English actor is seen wearing an outfit similar to the British soldier uniform during the American Revolutionary War.

The Legends are going to be reunited with Rip in next week’s Season 2, episode 9. The problem, however, is that their former captain won’t remember any of them. According to the synopsis for the show’s Season 2 winter premiere, Rip has no memories of his past due to “time drift.”

In the extended trailer for the episode, Sara (Caity Lotz) and the rest of the team will try to convince Rip that he’s actually a time master prior to assuming the identity of a graduate film student named Phil. While it’s unclear whether they’re going to be successful in helping Rip remember who he really is by the end of episode 9, the set photo taken by YVRShoots last November suggests that Rip will be back to his normal self by episode 11.

“Legends of Tomorrow” Season 2, episode 11 airs on Tuesday, Feb. 7 at 9 p.m. EST on The CW. The episode was directed Alice Troughton from a script written by Grainne Godfree and Matthew Maala.
