Although there is distance between them due to his prison sentence, it looks like “Love & Hip Hop: New York” star Yandy Smith and her longtime love Mendeecees Harris are still going strong.

On Monday, Yandy took to Instagram to share several photos of herself and Mendeecees reflecting on their time together. “Thanks for all the support @mendeecees,” Yandy started off her post. The reality star explained that she has been busy lately and hasn’t seen Mendeecees over the past two weekends, which has been taking an emotional toll on her.

“He told me I’m his superwoman and I said ‘only when I have to be’ swipe left tho (let me fix that for you boo)(I'm tired can I lean on you?),” she wrote.

In the photos shared by the VH1 star, she and Mendeecees look like a happy couple. In one picture, Yandy referred to herself as Superwoman during times when her lover seemed down.

The other photos display cute couple moments that the two have shared over the years, which include Yandy staring lovingly at Mendeecees. Other moments consist of her fixing his shirt and a simple picture of the two smiling.

Mendeecees was sentenced to serve eight years in 2015 for federal drug distribution, however, he recently attempted to reduce his sentence to three years due to his small role in the drug ring. His request was denied by a judge last month after prosecutors argued that his role had enough impact to deserve the lengthy sentence, Page Six reported.

Despite the distance and the time left on his sentence, it looks like Yandy and Mendeecees are optimistic about their future together.
