Georgina Chapman is an English rose whose wardrobe has not a single thorn.

The beautiful Marchesa designer is a fashion icon who takes bold risks, playing with ornate fabrics, voluminous shapes, and brilliant hues.

She is one of the most photographed faces in the New York social scene. Her fabulous wardrobe is as enviable as her fabulous life.

At 35-years-old the brunette beauty stands as one of the co-founders of one of the most coveted fashion lines today, Marchesa.

Chapman founded the line with fellow Chelsea College of Art and Design alum, Keren Craig, in 2004.

They do not advertise their line, instead they rely on media coverage and word of mouth - a process that has worked in their favor, with first endorsements from the likes of Renee Zellweger and Tamara Mellon of Jimmy Choo.

I thought I would just be designing one-off dresses for people and having a small business, Chapman told Telegraph. You dream of getting to one place, and then you think, 'Ooh, there's another level,' and suddenly I'm doing plates and handbags.

But I still love walking into a party and seeing that someone has actually bought one of my dresses, as much as dressing somebody for the Oscars, she continues. It is important to step back and think, 'Actually, this is really amazing and exciting,' and to appreciate what you have, because otherwise what is the point in doing it?

Since then, not only has Chapman's designs been a celebrity go-to for red carpet events, but Chapman herself has become a red carpet regular.

The gorgeous fashionista from Richmond, West London, is recognized for her supreme personal style. This translates into the Marchesa brand.

Marchesa's Spring 2012 collection is complete with the quintessential feminine dresses Chapman and Craig are known for.

The palette is sweet, with lovely colors of blush, white, and soft charcoal. Shapes range from slinky to flowy to Queen Elizabeth-inflated. Of course, there was rich, feminine details a-plenty, such as feathers and beading.

Chapman's keen eye has been utilized on the judging platform of top design show, Project Runway.

She has also contributed to some of the most distinguished fashion magazines in the world, like Vogue and InStyle.

Champan's talents do not only reside in fashion, but also stretch into acting.

The blue-eyed beauty has appeared on the TV series Gossip Girl and in films like The Nanny Diaries and Factory Girl, to name a few.

She married acclaimed producer Harvey Weinstein in 2007 and gave birth to their first child, daughter India Pearl, in August 2010.
