Celebrities poured into the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on Sunday, eager to attend the 2017 MTV Movie and TV Awards. Although the night is about honoring the work of those in television and film, it’s hard not to obsess over the red carpet fashion.

Zendaya, who attended the show to give fans a look at the upcoming “Spider-Man: Homecoming” movie, wore a Zuhair Murad Couture dress. Known for her unique and always memorable fashion choices, the actress’ stylist Law Roach told Billboard about her look for the night and even gave some details about their current collaboration.

“The ankle-length dress is covered in beautiful 3D appliqués and embellishments and has a plunging neckline. Her gunmetal open-toe heels with an ankle strap are from Le Silla,” he explained to the publication.

The actress also has a clothing line, Daya by Zendaya, which Roach has had a hand in. “It’s tough when you don’t just put your name on something. You look at every single design and sketch, you take all the phone calls and go to all the meetings, it’s a learning process. We both love fashion, but when you’re actually producing something it’s a whole other level, and we have to find the time to juggle it all,” he explained.

“For us, working as partners, we compromise. If she doesn’t like a shirt that I love, she’ll say, 'Okay, I’ll keep that shirt for these pants.’ If you’re going to have your hands in it, then you’ll have to work hard for that. We’re enjoying it and growing and learning together; it’s another facet of what we do,” he continued.

Elsewhere on the red carpet, Hailee Steinfeld, who helped open the show with host Adam DeVine, was nominated in the best actor category for her work in “The Edge of Seventeen” and wore a Fausto Puglisi dress.

Actress Holland Roden, who is basically MTV royalty thanks to her series “Teen Wolf,” wore a Tadashi Shoji dress. Earlier in the evening, the actress’ co-star Tyler Posey introduced a first look at the final season of their series.

Alexandra Daddario, who attended the award show as a presenter, hit the red carpet looking glamorous with her gorgeous lace dress and distinct smoky eye.

Earlier in the week, the actress was rumored to be dating her “Baywatch” co-star Zac Efron. The two were reportedly secretly dating for the past several months, but Gossip Cop confirmed that the allegations were strictly rumors.

Actress Gal Gadot stuck with a little black dress for her red carpet look. During the show, the world got a first look at her upcoming film with Chris Pine, “Wonder Woman.”

Also hitting the red carpet was model Jasmine Tookes, still rocking her amazing tan from her Coachella weekend with several other Victoria’s Secret models also attended the show wearing a Lethicia Bronstein dress.
