Most if not all tech enthusiasts know that the Mobile World Congress 2017 is happening by the end of February. The big annual event is the venue for new technologies and inventions, so it’s not surprising that everyone is looking forward to what the big industry players have to show off this year. South Korean brands Samsung and LG are confirmed to attend this year’s exhibition, so it’s important for fans attending MWC to know when and where these two companies will showcase their new products.

Every year, MWC is held in Barcelona, Spain, specifically in two venues: Fira Gran Via and Fira Mont Montjuïc. Almost all events take place at Fira Gran Via, while select presentations and shows are scheduled to happen at Fira Mont Montjuïc. The main event is slated to run from Feb. 27, Monday, through March 2, Thursday. Both venues are open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. local time.

Samsung and LG are among the 2,200 companies that will exhibit their products at this year’s MWC. Although nobody from the two tech brands are part of the lineup of keynote speakers this year, they are still expected to bring their A-game to the event. For Samsung’s own conference, the MWC website lists Samsung senior director for Emerging Platforms Group Andreas Hofmann, Head of 5G Research Samsung R&D Institute Dan Warren andVP and managing director Emily Becher as speakers. On the other hand, there are no listed speakers for LG on the site.

Samsung has scheduled two media events: Samsung 5G Press Conference and Jio and Samsung Joint Press Conference. The first one is set to happen on Feb. 26, Sunday, at Palau De Congressos de Catalunya Hall at 7 p.m. CET. The second conference, on the other hand, is to take place on Feb. 28, Tuesday, at Conference Room 2 of the Media Village at 8:45 a.m. CET. The company is also setting up a Samsung Network booth at the main exhibition area of MWC; however, it will only accommodate those who have invitations to enter the booth.

Although Samsung is not presenting its new Galaxy smartphones at MWC 2017, fans can still witness the company showcase its new Galaxy-branded tablets, namely Galaxy Tab S3 and Galaxy TabPro S2, at the event. Another product that Samsung will present to attendees is its Monitorless sunglasses that combines augmented reality and virtual reality and works with a smartphone or a PC. Other technologies the company will present this year are the Gear VR app called Relumino, VR home design suite named VuildUs and its interactive travel app TraVRer.

Meanwhile, LG has already sent out its invites for its MWC appearance. Based on the invitation, LG could be showing off its G5 successor at the Barcelona event. On Feb. 26 at 12 p.m. CET, LG is going to publicly unveil the G6, which is reported to come with a 5.7-inch 2880 x 1440 display that has an 18:9 ratio compared to the body of the device. The almost bezel-less appearance of the handset is called Full Vision, as per CNET. Last year, LG introduced its G5 with modular design phone at MWC 2016. Although it got a lot of attention from attendees, it did not do well on the market. It isn’t known yet what kind of other products LG is going to display at its booth.

“Over the past three decades, mobile has evolved from an emerging communications technology to a phenomenon that is now at the foundation of everything we do,” GSMA chief marketing officer Michael O’Hara said. “The 2017 edition of Mobile World Congress will highlight just how elemental mobile has become in our everyday lives and the positive impact it is having for billions of people around the world.”
