Dancing With the Stars is down to four contestants after lawyer and television personality Nancy Grace got the boot.

Grace's tango and jive with dance partner Tristan MacManus didn't fly with the judges or viewers. Their jive - which proved to be a difficult dance for most of the contestants -- earned them the lowest score on Monday night.

Still, the CNN commentator was thankful for the chance to shimmy.

I am so proud, she said after being voted off. But I really cannot take the credit. You know what? It's been all Tristan, from the get-go.

She thanked her family and the show before thanking her partner again.

Especially to you, Tristan, she said before giving the Irish cutie a pat on the cheek.

This was MacManus' second season on DWTS but his first in having a partner.

We've had a blast, he said of himself and Grace. We'd just like to thank everyone. Thanks for being very welcoming to me and also to Nancy. We really really had a fun time and it's the support that we get from you all that really pushes us to do it.

He added that from the start we've always said to each other it's not about being the best it's just about doing your best.

Grace later sent out a Twitter message of love: We love you. We thank you.

The couples who will now go to the semi-finals are Rob Kardashian and Cheryl Burke, Ricki Lake and Derek Hough, J.R. Martinez and Karina Smirnoff, and Hope Solo and Maksim Chmerkovskiy.
