London will continue to be the leading global city of economic importance “if it continues to follow structural adjustments in its economy. These include bringing large institutional investors into the rental market, which will turn Londoners into renters rather than owners and divert the surplus from real estate into more productive capital,” Dr. Savvas Verdis, Chief Executive, Rankdesk, London, said in the report. stock.xchng

A 425-foot high Orlando Eye observation wheel, almost as high as the landmark London Eye wheel, will become the new landmark of the central city of Orlando in Florida. A Madame Tussauds wax museum will be yet another new tourist attraction in the city, Merlin Entertainments said on Wednesday.

The largest European leisure company, Merlin Entertainments, operating various amusement parks and other entertainment centers, is collaborating with Unicorp National Developments Inc. and Circle Entertainment Inc. to develop these two new attractions to be brought to a new shopping and entertainment complex named I-Walk Orlando.

The new attractions of Orlando are set to be unveiled in 2013, the company said.

Merlin Entertainments, that owns London Eye wheel, will also operate the Orlando Legoland theme park, which is due to open in late 2011.

The company's future plans include the operation of Legoland theme park in Malaysia as well, due to open in 2012.

UK-based Merlin Entertainments operates about 63 visitor attractions internationally, including Madame Tussauds, The Dungeons, Alton Towers Resort, and more that attract over 38 million visitors every year.

Orlando Eye and a Madame Tussauds museum will definitely have more tourists visiting Orlando, according to industry experts.
