Hollywood actor Brad Pitt is planning to take his relationship with Angelina Jolie to the next step by marrying her soon.

Pitt, 47, is living together with Jolie, 35. They have 6 children - they are Maddox, 9, Zahara, 6, Pax, 7, Shiloh, 5, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 2. Three of them are biological children and three of them are adopted children.

In the past, Pitt and Jolie said they wouldn't marry until gay people could do so legally, but now the situation has changed because their children often question why mom and dad aren't married.

In the new film The Tree of Life, which won the top prize at the Cannes Film Festival, Pitt plays a father who has three sons, and has a very bad impact on one of his sons.

I certainly don't raise my kids that same way, Pitt said. I'm painfully aware that my actions leave a double mark on them in these formidable years, so I make sure I don't bring my crap at home.

It's meaning more and more to them. So it's something we've got to look at, the actor said.

However, don't expect a proposal for nuptials anytime soon.
