The latest “Pokémon Sun and Moon” trailer showed the second-generation evolutions of Starter Pokémon Rowlet, Litten and Popplio. Now that Datrix, Torracat and Brionne have been introduced, it’s only a matter of time until fans from all over the world would get to meet the fully evolved forms of the trio. Ahead of that announcement, however, the Z-Moves of the Starter Pokémon have made an appearance in the French TV ad for the games.

Early this week, YouTube user rif raff uploaded a copy of the official French TV advertisement for “Pokémon Sun and Moon.” Interestingly, aside from showcasing Legendary Pokémon Solgaleo and Lunaala, the Alola region and other new Pokémon like Tapu Koko, the TV ad also features the Z-Moves of the three Starter Pokémon.

Serebii.net previously listed a couple of type-specific Z-Moves, namely: Gigavolt Havoc, Bloom Doom, Inferno Overdrive, Hydro Vortex, Invitation to the Infinite Dark Knight (tentative Japanese name) and Full-Force Unparalleled Fists of Fury (also tentative). Since Bloom Doom, Inferno Overdrive and Hydro Vortex are Z-Moves of Grass, Fire and Water type Pokémon, it does not come as a surprise that Rowlet (Grass/Flying), Litten (Fire) and Popplio (Water) have these Z-Moves to use during battles.

Previously leaked photos of the three Z-Moves did not show which Pokémon were using them. With the newly leaked French TV ad, however, it’s quite clear how the Starter Pokémon unleash their Z-Moves when their Trainers activate them using the Z-Ring and Z Crystals. Check out the ad below and notice that from the 0:17 through the 0:23 mark Rowlet, Litten and Popplio showcase their Z-Moves after being activated with the help of their Trainers.

Meanwhile, since the release of “Pokémon Sun” and “Pokémon Moon” is becoming more and more imminent, speculations and theories about what the 3DS-exclusive titles will come with are in full swing. One of the latest speculations about the Alola region-set games pertains to the possibility that Trainers could eventually return to the Kalos region — the five-pointed star region that served as the setting of “Pokémon X and Y.

Reddit user surferguy90 started a thread on Wednesday by asking if it’s possible that Trainers would get the chance to return to the Kalos region since Dexio and Sina are appearing in the Alola region. In early September, The Pokémon Company revealed in a teaser trailer that “Pokémon X and Y” characters Dexio and Sina are showing up in “Pokémon Sun and Moon” as Trainers progress through their adventure in the Alola region. Nintendo Everything reported at the time that Dexio and Sina will be in charge of providing players with the Zygarde Cube, which is necessary if they want to collect Zygarde Cores and Cells to create Zygarde Complete Forme.

In response to surferguy90’s question, Reddit user Eddie_berto said that a leak has mentioned that there is a cave with tracks in the Alola region which seems impenetrable to players. The Redditor then continued by implying that the cave could be the portal to revisiting the Kalos region and this feature could be part of the games since it’s Pokémon’s 20th anniversary.

Do you think it’s just right for Game Freak to give Trainers access to revisit the Kalos region in “Pokémon Sun and Moon”? Sound off in the comments below.
