PS4
PS4 could cost $349 at launch according to an investment firm. us.playstation.com/

Sony has indicated that owners of the next-gen PS4 gaming console will be able to play any PS4 game on the PS Vita handheld gaming system. Sony executive Shuhei Yoshida confirmed this feature on his Twitter account. The only exception applies to PS4 games that require the use of the included camera.

If this feature will allow gamers to seamlessly switch between playing a game on the PS4 to playing the same game on the PS Vita and vice versa, this could inject some considerable life into the handheld gaming system, which has suffered from lackluster sales figures since its release last year. The key of course is execution, and we have our doubts as to whether this feature can be pulled off well. After all, this feature requires games that are meant to be played on modern TVs to be scaled down for a device that sports a 5-inch 960 x 544 display and ARM Cortex A9 processor. We hope to see a demo of the feature when Sony reveals the PS4 at its E3 event on June 10, 9 a.m.

What do you think of the ability to play PS4 games on the PS Vita? Do you think this could increase the PS Vita's popularity? What problems do you think could arise from such a feature? Sound off in the comments below.
