Having trouble logging into the PlayStation Network on your PS4? Before you throw your controller against the wall, take heart. There's hope. Sony is looking into complications on PSN and the PlayStation Network Store, according to a PlayStation forum post.

Many users have alerted Sony that they’re unable to log into PSN or are having problems with the network itself. A number of them have contacted the brand via social networks and forums.

"If you are currently experiencing issues accessing PSN or the Store, please try again later," Sony posted. "Our engineers are currently investigating."

PlayStation’s Twitter account also addressed the complications, saying the company is aware of the problems PS4 users are facing while logging into the network. The multimedia conglomerate is "currently looking into it and will provide an update soon."

A number of Sony fans reported buggy issues after installing the next-gen’s system recently-launched software update 1.06. The update allowed the ability to mute the PlayStation Camera along with general stability fixes and support for wireless stereo gaming headsets.

The PlayStation 4 launched in North America on Nov. 15 and reportedly sold 1 million units within the first 24 hours of its launch, which led to 2.1 million consoles sold internationally as of early December. One week later, the PS4’s next-gen competitor, Microsoft’s Xbox One, launched in 13 countries on Nov. 22.

Sony President and Group CEO Andrew House revealed that 4.2 million PlayStation 4s had been sold worldwide as of Dec. 28, 2013. House made the announcement at the 2014 International CES in January. "The momentum of the PS4 system keeps getting stronger and we couldn't be more thrilled that gamers worldwide are enjoying the incredibly immersive gaming experiences along with deep social capabilities and entertainment provided by our network," House stated. "After a remarkable launch, we look forward to bringing even more exciting content and continuing to explore the power of the PS4 system by adding new features and services, including PlayStation Now, in 2014." The Japanese electronics brand added that the PS4 was its most successful console launch of all time. The PS4 retails for $399.99.
