Queen Elizabeth Shock: Monarch Prefers One-On-One Conversations With Kate Middleton Than Prince William

Queen Elizabeth and Kate Middleton have reportedly become closer to each other in recent years.

A source told Closer Weekly that Her Majesty admires some of the Duchess of Cambridge’s qualities that she knows would make her a wonderful queen someday. The Queen has also been grooming Middleton for her future role by teaching her all of the ins and outs that she needs to know.

“The Queen admires her professionalism, commitment, and ability to take royal life in stride without getting flustered. Over the past few years, they’ve gotten to know each other on a personal level and the Queen became very impressed with her. Kate’s also much more at ease in her presence now,” the source said.

In the past, Prince William’s wife reportedly felt nervous whenever she’s around the Queen. In fact, it took her quite some time before she started calling her Elizabeth and not Her Majesty.

Over time, the Queen has also learned how to value the Duchess of Cambridge’s opinions more. In fact, she values it so much that she tends to communicate with Middleton more instead of growing through her grandson first.

Meanwhile, the monarch also gave Middleton a piece of advice on how to deal with the ongoing scandals in the royal family.

“Elizabeth has told Kate to never speak in public about any drama surrounding the family. Instead, the palace always communicates through statements that should be short and factual. Kate has learned a great deal,” the source said.

The Queen and Middleton are also on the same page when it comes to valuing their family. Her Majesty reportedly regrets not being able to spend much time with her children while they were growing up.

Middleton, on the other hand, wants to make sure that she won’t miss important milestones in Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis’ lives even when she’s already the queen.
