Following Nene Leakes’ first episode on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” Season 12, the star has been addressing shady comments made by her castmates and rumors that have circulated about her position on the show.

Since Nene’s return, she and Kenya Moore have been insulting one another on social media and in interviews. In her latest television appearance, Nene took the opportunity to call out the 48-year-old former beauty queen about a particular comment.

Following the “RHOA” Season 12 premiere, Kenya made an appearance on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.” During the show, a fan called in and asked Kenya if she would consider fixing her relationship with Nene. However, the former Miss USA revealed she wasn’t interested.

“The answer about NeNe is absolutely not. I think she’s pretty much dead to me,” Kenya told the caller.

“When someone tries to spit on you, I think they'll not ever be friends with you. That’s pretty much done,” she added.

During Nene’s recent interview with Extra, she was asked what she thought about Kenya’s harsh comment. “She’s never been alive to me, so it’s fine,” Nene replied.

While there were various rumors about why Nene was missing from the first two episodes of the new season, she insisted there was no drama behind her absence. “Well, there was no real reason other than we were negotiating. So many people have speculated and said so many things,” she explained.

“I even heard some of my fellow Housewives… ‘Oh, she was suspended.’ I’m like, ‘Was I? Please call Andy Cohen.’ Okay, because people get things misconstrued, I grabbed the camera guy’s shirt. He didn’t have a problem with it — I don’t know why anyone else does.”

Nene insisted if she was going to get penalized and forced to sit out filming the show, it would have not been over a fight.

“I’ve been into a lot of things on this show, and if I was going to get suspended, it sure wouldn’t have been for pulling that shirt… There have been physical altercations on our show, and they weren’t suspended,” she said.

Nene went on to reveal she has changed since the closet incident occurred and that fans will see a different side of her.

“Real Housewives of Atlanta” Season 12 airs Sundays at 8 p.m. EST on Bravo.
