Chris Brown tweeted the F word on Tuesday, to those who were critical of his Grammys performance on Sunday and less than 24 hours later RIP Chris Brown is a trending topic on Twitter.

On Sunday, Brown performed a medley of his songs Turn Up the Music and Beautiful People after which his name became a trending topic on Twitter along with the hashtag womanbeater. His performance got mixed reviews from the Twitter crowd including celebrities.

I fast forwarded past the abuser Chris Brown. I should have done the same for Rihanna too. #FAIL #grammys one user tweeted after Brown's performance.

Chris brown must be off probation bcuz he's definitely within 100 feet of Rhianna..... lol stupid bruh, another wrote.

Country singer Miranda Lambert tweeted this message, Not cool that we act like that didn't happen. He needs to listen to Gunpowder and lead and be put back in his place. Not at the Grammys.

Brown has been highly criticized ever since he was accused of beating his ex-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009 the night before they were to make An appearance at the Grammys. It has been three years since he graced the Grammys stage.

Jack Osbourne also had a string of tweets directed at Brown.

Chris brown.....people don't forget! #chrisbrownbeatswomen

if Chris Brown had worn a wife beater, the irony would eclipse the whole show. #chrisbrownbeatswomen

Btw I absolutely love all of the Chris Brown hate mail I have been getting. You guys are hilarious. Hahahaha

Ok ok...I'll stop. All you Chris Brown supporters are right. I am wrong...but before I go, remember one thing.... #chrisbrownbeatswomen

In response to all the negativity Brown tweeted, HATE ALL U WANT BECUZ I GOT A GRAMMY Now! That's the ultimate F--- OFF! according to reports.

That tweet has since been deleted but was preserved by a screenshot from Mashable.

Strange how we pick and choose who to hate! Brown wrote, according to MTV. Let me ask u this. Our society is full of rappers (which I listen to) who have sold drugs (poisoning). But yet we glorify them and imitate everything they do. Then right before the worlds eyes a man shows how he can make a Big mistake and learn from it, but still has to deal with day to day hatred! You guys love to hate!!! But guess what???

Radar Online has reported that an unnamed source who is close to Brown has denied that the singer posted the comments himself.

Someone does his postings on Twitter and when he saw that he ordered it taken down

The Recording Academy president Neil Portnow has defended the decision to add Brown to the performance lineup stating that If we're going to get in trying to personally evaluate artists in terms of their personal lives, that's a slippery slope that we wouldn't want to get into.
