Robert Pattinson has emerged from solitude and apparently is ready to put Kristen Stewart in his past.

Just days after he appeared on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" news broke that Pattinson will continue his return to the public eye by getting a makeover and hanging out with Leonardo DiCaprio, which is not a bad way to rebound from being cheated on. He's even ready to spend millions of dollars on revamping his image, according to EntertainmentWise.com.

The site wrote that sources reported Pattinson "wants to look and feel different as he starts life as a single man" and he "reportedly hopes his improved image will make Kristen regret straying."

"Twilight" fans who grew accustomed to the film series' stars dating won't forget their very public breakup, which came to a head when photos surfaced of Stewart being overly affectionate with Rupert Sanders, who directed Stewart in "Snow White and the Huntsman." In the days after the scandal hit the blogosphere and tabloids, both Stewart and Sanders issued apologies.

That didn't stop Pattinson from moving out of the home he had shared with Stewart, who played Bella in the "Twilight" movies.

Hollywood Life reported that Pattinson is not only gearing up for a major makeover, but also is joining longtime idol Leonardo DiCaprio on a vacation to Puerto Rico.

"Leo has been one of Rob's role models for years, and Rob was totally taken by surprise when Leo called him. He invited Rob along on a getaway he's planning when he's in Puerto Rico for the wrap party on the movie he's producing, Runner, Runner," Look magazine reported.

Pattinson, 26, reportedly already has spent a "fortune" on his hair, teeth, and spray tan. Meanwhile, Look said the actor has been buying Gucci suits, which can cost $2,000 a pop.

This news follows Pattinson's appearance on "Kimmel," which made for a somewhat awkward interview for the British star. After Kimmel joked with Pattinson about the adoration he receives from female fans, the topic naturally shifted to Stewart's infidelity. Pattinson stayed calm and collected -- maybe a lesson he has learned from DiCaprio -- and shifted the topic to how he's selling a Chevrolet Silverado he bought off craigslist. He also joked that he is homeless and living in a trash can.

Pattinson gained fame as a vampire in the "Twilight" series, but most recently he put away his fangs for a role in "Cosmopolis," a psychological thriller released this year. He stars alongside Paul Giamatti and others as a Wall Street playboy confused about the future.
