Samsung Mobile Unpacked: Episode 2 takes place Wednesday, and many expect Samsung to unveil its Samsung Galaxy Note 3 smartphone and Samsung Galaxy Gear smartwatch. Samsung will live-stream its event, and we've embedded the video below. The official live stream will begin around 1 p.m. EDT.

“Note the date,” Samsung teased in its press initiations for the latest Unpacked event, making us certain that the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will announced. Rumors have been rampant for both the Galaxy Note 3 and the Galaxy Gear watch.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is expected to feature either an Exynos 5 Octa 5420 processor or a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, as well as a 5.68-inch display, likely of the Full HD Super AMOLED variety. Reports also suggest the device may ship a 32GB model as its main internal storage option and may include up to 3GB of RAM as well as a 13-megapixel camera, a battery up to 3,450 mAh and LTE-Advanced technology. The Galaxy Note 3 will likely run the recently released Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system.

Some other more lofty rumors suggest the Galaxy Note 3 will feature 4K video recording and 24-bit/192kHz music playback as well as fingerprint detection technology and the Samsung Orb panoramic mode.

The Samsung Galaxy Gear smartwatch is expected to feature an Exynos 4212 dual core processor clocking in at 1.5GHz, a 320x320 non-flexible AMOLED display, 6GB and 8GB internal storage options, 1GB RAM, and a 4-megapixel camera. Other reports suggest Samsung will release the smartwatch in four colors -- white, orange, gray and black -- and will have up to 10 hours of battery life. The Galaxy Gear smartwatch will likely run a version of Android Jelly Bean, but which version remains uncertain.

"Samsung Unpacked 2013: Episode 2" is taking place in Berlin on Wednesday, preceding the 2013 IFA Expo, which will take place from Friday through Sept. 11. The Samsung event will begin at 7 p.m. Central European Time, 1 p.m. EDT and will also be accompanied by a YouTube live stream as well as a “live broadcasting event and first hands-on experience,” which will take place in New York’s Times Square.
