The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is expected to be unveiled during Samsung Unpacked 2013: Episode 2 on Sept. 4 Samsung Tomorrow

Samsung has officially announced its next Unpacked event will take place on Sept. 4, which many expect will give an opportunity for Samsung to unveil its upcoming Galaxy Note 3 smartphone.

“Note the date,” says Samsung’s press invites as well as the announcement on the Samsung Tomorrow blog. Samsung is infamous for being fairly obvious with clues in its advertisements. Consider the “Be Ready 4” slogan we saw on ads for the March 14 Unpacked event where we saw the Samsung Galaxy S4 unveiled.

"Samsung Unpacked 2013: Episode 2" will take place in Berlin as was heavily predicted, as the event will precede the 2013 IFA Expo taking place in Berlin from Sept. 6 to 11. The event will begin at 7 p.m. CST, 1 p.m. EST and will also be accompanied by a YouTube live stream as well as a “live broadcasting event and first hands-on experience,” which will take place in New York’s Times Square.

With the date for Samsung’s next Galaxy Note unveiling set, we finally have a clarification to the “episode” mystery. We recall that the Samsung Galaxy S4 unveiling was called "Samsung Unpacked 2013: Episode 1," and at that time Samsung gave no indication as to when further “episodes” would take place.

There are likely few mysteries left until the next Samsung Unpacked. Rumors about the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 predominantly suggest a 5.7-inch display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and a 13-megapixel camera as specs for the device. Other reports propose that Samsung will also unveil a smart watch to be tentatively called “Galaxy Gear.”

Of course, no reports can be confirmed without word from Samsung; however, with just one month left until the next big show, most reports may be fairly accurate.
