Sarah Palin is not known to have been generous in her remarks about media; neither has the fourth estate been kind towards her.
Quite often she has expressed her frustration, anger and extreme distrust over how media portrays her and the themes that she loves.

She is incensed that media portrays her comments as ridiculous. She once said she can see Russia from Alaska and immediately it was fodder for much online ridicule. She insisted rent-seeking media was taking things out of context.

And then the irony is, she utters something like “I love that smell of the emissions,” and expects media to be generous in reporting this.

There is quite something that turns Palin against the media and vice versa. Here is a quick look at some of Palin's attack and snubs on media, mainstream as well as blogging sites:

? I don’t think I owe anything to the mainstream media, Palin said on Monday on Fox News. I think that it would be a mistake for me to become some kind of conventional politician and doing things the way it’s always been done with the media, in terms of relationships with them.”
? I want to help clean up the state that is so sorry today of journalism. And I have a communications degree, Palin said in another Fox News interview in November last year.
? Bored, anonymous, pathetic bloggers who lie annoy me....I'll tell you, yesterday the Anchorage Daily News, they called again to ask — double-, triple-, quadruple-check — who is Trig's real mom. And I said, Come on, are you kidding me? We're gonna answer this? Do you not believe me or my doctor? And they said, No, it's been quite cryptic the way that my son's birth has been discussed. And I thought, Okay, more indication of continued problems in the world of journalism. (Quoted by Esquire.com)
? I think it's appalling and a violation of our freedom of the press. she said, referring to adverse press coverage of Republican congressional candidate Vaughn Ward.
? How sad that Washington and the media will never understand; it's about country. And though it's honorable for countless others to leave their positions for a higher calling and without finishing a term, of course we know by now, for some reason a different standard applies for the decisions I make. -- Referring to the media reaction to her decision to quit as Alaska governor in 2009.

And then here is a fierce attack on media she launched on media, in which she said media has corrupt b******s among them.
? Just last night it was revealed that, at the rally I had for Joe Miller on Thursday, it was revealed and we have the tape that proves it, that the CBS reporters, the affiliate in Alaska, conspired to make up stories about Joe Miller. We have the tape, Chris. I can't wait until it busts out all over the nation to show what it is that we, kind of what I put up with for two years now with the media, but what Joe Miller is faced with, in dealing with someone who feels, Lisa Murkowski, so entitled to seat that she and some of her people including some complicits in the media will do anything, they will stop at nothing.
? I'm saying that we have it on tape, the CBS reporters in the affiliate up there in Alaska are on tape saying
let's find a child molester in the crowd as a supporter for Joe Miller, let's blast that. Let's concoct a Ron Paul moment there let's find any kind of chaos so that we can tweet an alert and say, 'oohh there's chaos, Joe Miller got punched.' That's sick. Those are corrupt bastards. (In a Fox News interview).
