“Secrets and Lies” fans are inching closer to the Season 2 premiere. ABC has released photos of the brand new cast, but unfortunately has not announced the premiere date for episode 1 yet.

As previously reported, Season 2 of “Secrets and Lies” will introduce a whole new set of characters. However, one familiar face form Season 1 will return – Detective Andrea Cornell (Juliette Lewis).

Last season Detective Cornell was on the case of Tom Murphy, a young boy who was murdered in the woods. This year she’ll be investigating the death of Kate Warner (Jordana Brewster), a woman who recently married into a wealthy family from North Carolina. Cornell immediately suspects the husband, Eric Warner (Michael Ealy), of being involved in his wife’s murder. However, the entire Warner family – and even some outsiders – are full of secrets.

Of course, Kate’s death isn’t the only thing that will be explored in Season 2. Fans who watched the first season of “Secrets and Lies” will remember that Detective Cornell had her own secret involving her daughter. All viewers know is that her daughter is a criminal. But exactly what happened remains unclear for now.
