Twitter just released an interactive visualization that tracked what President Barack Obama said during his State of the Union speech and how people across the country reacted.

Here’s how it works: The timeline on top illustrates the many issues that President Obama talked about during the SOTU speech. A thicker line indicates that topic was talked about more at that given moment.

For example, at around 9:30 pm President Obama talked about energy, and then transitioned to talking about jobs by 9:40 pm.

As you scroll through the timeline on the top, you’re also scrolling through the transcript of President Obama’s speech. Each moment is also visualized onto a map of the U.S., which shows where Twitter engagement was very high at that time.
