Verizon began accepting preorders Thursday for its LG G4 and LG G Pad X8.3 tablet. US Cellular, Sprint and T-Mobile have already been accepting orders for these products.

According to Verizon Wireless, the device will be made available in retail stores from June 4. However, the preordered G4s will reportedly be shipped before the handsets hit the store shelves.

The handset will apparently set the buyers back $549.99 without any contract. Verizon's Edge plan will cost $22.91 per month for two years. Moreover, Verizon is offering three colors, Metallic Gray, Genuine Black Leather and the Verizon-specific hue Ceramic White, complete with 3D patterns.

For a limited time U.S. buyers of the LG G4 will get a free 32 GB microSD card, along with a second battery and charging cradle.
