Erika Jayne can handle the dramatic world of soap operas. The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star first made an appearance on “The Young and the Restless” last December, and she’s already back for more.

The CBS soap opera will welcome Erika (whose legal name is Erika Girardi) back in spring, Entertainment Weekly reports. She’ll reprise her role as Farrah on the April 24 episode of “The Young and the Restless,” but she won’t be around too long. It sounds like it’s just a one-episode return. After all, Erika has a busy schedule. She’ll start competing on “Dancing With the Stars” Season 24 in March.

Her character Farrah is a realtor to the rich, and her ego caused her to immediately butt heads with Eileen Davidson’s character Ashley. This time Farrah will meet Jack (Peter Bergman), Ashley’s brother. Will she have just as much contempt for him as she did Ashley or will he be able to warm up the icy character? Fans will have to tune in to find out.

“RHOBH” fans know that Eileen helped her fellow housewife get the role on “Y&R.” In a December episode of the Bravo reality show, Eileen is shown introducing Erika to Mal Young, an executive producer on the soap, and Erika made it clear that she should play a character more fiery than the typical nice girl archetype.

“I don’t think I’m the girl next door. Maybe the hooker next door,” she joked to the EP.

Erika Jayne’s episode of “The Young and the Restless” airs April 24 on CBS, and her “Dancing With the Stars” season starts March 20 on ABC.
