The 2019 holiday season is officially in full swing. First stop, Thanksgiving.

It's the first holiday of the fall that brings family and friends together to celebrate and remember all they have to be thankful for -- like the food, for instance. While it may be a bit overwhelming to plan a big meal, your guests' tastebuds are sure to be satisfied with staple Thanksgiving dishes like turkey, stuffing, and let's not forget the pie.

This savory and flavorful meal can lead many into a food coma and needing a nap, but what happens when they wake up? Of course, you could curl up on the couch and binge Netflix or some other streaming service. You could even play some board and card games. Eventually, though, you might want to head out to avoid a case of cabin fever and when you do, the movie theatre is a great place to go.

Thankfully, this year, there is a wide selection of films releasing in theaters that will be sure to suit any member of your family. From action-packed to horror to feel-good films, the selection of movies is so diverse that the hardest thing you'll have to decide is which one to see. Well, here's some help.

Here are 10 movies to see in theatres over Thanksgiving weekend 2019:
