"1000-Lb. Sisters" star Tammy Slaton is a single woman again following her split from her boyfriend, Phillip Redmond.

In Monday's episode of the TLC series, Tammy, 35, revealed that she's called it quits with her boyfriend, whom she recently introduced to "1000-Lb. Sisters" viewers, People reported.

Amy Slaton, Tammy's sister, showed concern over the relationship before learning of the breakup.

"I'm trying to motivate Tammy, because I do have my worries about Phillip, the new boyfriend," Amy said in an interview. "He loves big women, but she needs to lose this weight."

Tammy previously admitted that Phillip has bragged about his preference for bigger women online and said he refuses to date anyone under 300 pounds. Due to this, Amy feared that Phillip would compromise Tammy's weight loss journey.

During the episode, Tammy informed Amy that she and Phillip had gone their separate ways when the two sisters met up to do a workout together.

"We broke up," Tammy told her sister. "I guess you could say I did it, cause I was tired of fighting with him and he said my insecurities were my problem. And, like, at the beginning of the relationship I told him, I was like, can you promise you'll help me through my insecurities. He said it got to be too much."

In an interview, Tammy admitted that she is sad about the split. She also said she often ends up "getting hurt real hard, real bad" in relationships because she trusts people quickly and easily.

Amy, however, suggested that heartbreak could be the motivation Tammy needs to improve her life.

"Him saying you're insecure and stuff, maybe that needs to be the motivation to be, like, getting your inner demons worked on," Amy said.

"I got an inner demon?" Tammy asked, to which Amy replied, "Yeah, your inner food addiction, and your insecurities."

Amy added that Tammy needs to lose weight before her next visit to her bariatric surgeon, Dr. Eric Smith, and has to continue working out every day even when she's "not around."

In a separate interview, Amy shared that she hopes Tammy will focus on her weight loss goal following her split from Phillip.

"Tammy told me she broke up with Phil, and I'm like, about damn time. Now you need to work on yourself," she said, adding that Phillip wanted her sister "to be a glutton" instead of supporting her in shedding extra pounds in order to qualify for bariatric surgery, an operation that helps the body speed up weight loss.

"I'm hoping with the whole breakup, it [doesn't] deter Tammy away from her weight loss, because she needs to lose this 25 pounds. The doctor gave her a goal," Amy continued.

In the Season 2 finale of "1000-Lb. Sisters," Tammy admitted she was "even more depressed" after gaining 21 pounds.

"I mean, sometimes I try to eat healthier, and then other days I'm like, 'What the heck's the point?" she shared. "I know I shouldn't sit there and eat it all, but I do, and I don't know how to stop."

"1000-Lb. Sisters" Season 3 airs every Monday on TLC at 10 p.m. EST.
