  • Apple recently launched the 13-inch MacBook Pro
  • Several Apple fans and even analysts, however, are talking about the 14-inch MacBook Pro reportedly arriving this year
  • A new information, however, claims that the 14-inch MacBook Pro with mini LED will launch in 2021 and not in 2020

Over the past months, several rumors about the 14-inch MacBook Pro arriving this year have been making rounds online. The much-awaited premium laptop is a refresh of the smaller laptop models that Apple previously released. However, contrasting earlier rumors, a new leak claims that fans may have to wait a little longer since the upcoming laptop might arrive in 2021.

On May 11, 2020, an anonymous Twitter account named @L0vetodream shared a cryptic tweet. The tipster wrote, "MBP14 next year," which, according to Apple Insider, is a reference to the new display size of the next Apple laptop. The tweet stands for the 14-Inch MacBook Pro.

The Twitter account was created in Feb. 2020, but it now has a considerable following, probably because of its bold predictions. The same Twitter account was responsible for predicting that the iPad Pro would feature the LiDAR sensor ahead of its launch. Interestingly, the reliable Apple tipster Jon Prosser, who has been providing the industry with accurate details about Apple's upcoming products, seemed to support the tweet.

He replied to the tweet stating, "100%," which appeared to be a confirmation that the information is accurate. Earlier reports claimed that the current 13-inch MacBook Pro upgrade would be the new 14-inch MacBook Pro model that the Cupertino tech giant would launch. However, it looks like this is not the case.

While the 13-inch MacBook Pro introduced major changes, including the Magic Keyboard and the 10th generation Intel CPU, the premium laptop did not receive the massive overhaul that many fans were expecting. So, if the 14-inch MacBook Pro is coming, when can fans expect it? Based on several reports, the 14-Inch MacBook Pro encountered some delays because Apple decided to equip it with mini LED displays.

The move from the Cupertino tech titan applies not only to its premium laptops but also to its tablets. Whispers online earlier claimed that the production of these vibrant displays had been delayed. It is worth noting that while this latest detail about the 14-inch MacBook Pro is exciting, it is not yet official. In this case, it is safe to take this information with a grain of salt.
