Two teenage boys were taken in custody after they reportedly shot at Chicago police on Sunday in Austin.

Around 7:15 PM, officers responded to a call reporting someone in possession of a gun in 800 North Waller Avenue and discovered two teen boys running into an alley and firing shots all the while, Chicago Sun Times reported.

The boys who were aged 14 and 16 were taken into custody and two weapons were recovered at the scene.

No injuries or any more incidents were reported and the Area North detectives are investigating.
