KEY POINTS

  • Heat will host Jazz on Monday
  • Jazz are looking to stretch win to six
  • Heat are -4.5 favorites in the match

The Utah Jazz is bringing in the momentum over to South Florida as they try to cap their three-game road trip on a winning note and stretch their torrid run to six straight victories when they take on the Miami Heat on Monday at the American Airlines Arena.

The visiting Jazz is coming off victories against the Atlanta Hawks and Charlotte Hornets that positioned them at sixth in the West with an 18-11 register. They must buck the trend, however, as they are posting a losing record on the road, 7-8.

The home team is currently at the third spot of the Eastern Conference and at the top of the Southeast Division holding a 21-8 record. They have won four of their last five games and are still devastating inside the Triple-A with a 12-1 tally.

Rudy Gobert, Donovan Mitchell and Bojan Bogdanovic are expected to provide damage for Utah again. The trio ganged up and accounted for 55 percent of the team's total scoring output in their win against the Hornets on Saturday.

Justise Winslow is expected to miss his ninth game in a row for the Heat as he is still nursing a back injury.

Odds and Trends:

Spread is at -4.5 for the Miami Heat. The total line is 211.5.

The Utah Jazz is struggling against the spread based on trends. As an underdog on the road, they have accounted for just two covers in the last seven times. They are also winless ATS in the last four games they faced an over .600 team.

Not much of the same case for the Heat as they have beaten the spread five times in their last six games overall. As a home favorite, they have also won 10 times in the last 12. The Jazz, however, are 4-1 ATS in their last five meetings in Miami.

The OVER selection looks promising for this game. The selection is 4-1 in the Jazz’s last five games while it is 7-0 in the Heat’s last seven games overall.

Prediction:

Straight Up: Miami Heat
