Three people were stabbed at a Target Store in Los Angeles on Tuesday evening. Law enforcement officials said the suspect was shot down after the incident and was taken into custody.

While the condition of the victims remains unclear, police are searching through the California convenience store to look for more possible victims.

CNN reported a security guard present at the store may have gunned down the suspect.

The stabbing incident was reported at the Target Store on Figueroa and 7th streets around 6.20 p.m. local time (9.20 p.m. ET). Multiple police vehicles and ambulances soon arrived at the crime scene. Officials then sealed off the area, ABC News reported.

The identities of the victims and the suspect were not revealed.
