  • Spurs' Son registers second-longest dribble before scoring a goal
  • Ibrahimovic's header proves he is far from done with the sport
  • Aubameyang's precious goal lifts Arsenal over Manchester United

2020 is coming to an end and it is time to look back at the precious moments that happened in the English Premier League.

Though the COVID-19 has altered the way games were played, football fans were still able to watch some of the games thanks to social medial and streaming video means.

Let us run down some of those unforgettable moments.

5. Manzini Caps West Ham Improbable Comeback Against Tottenham

West Ham is a club that will play hard until the final whistle goes off. Down 0-3 against Tottenham Hotspur, the Hammers did the impossible by scoring three goals after 81 minutes to force a draw.

Fabian Balbuena, Davinson Sanchez and Manuel Lanzini conspired to make it happen, saving the Irons from the jaws of defeat last Oct. 18.

4. Salah’s backheel strike vs. Watford

Mo Salah has been known to strike at opportune moments, and one of the most memorable from that was his backheel strike against Watford.

The shot may look easy for the Egyptian football player although he got a bit of help from the miscue by Divock Origi when he accidentally nudged the ball that resulted in a score.

3. Son’s Strike Against Burnley

Son Heung-Min of Tottenham dribbled the ball for roughly 7.14 meters in only 11 seconds. It was the second-longest distance traveled by a player that ended up seeing him scoring a goal in a Premier League match.

Only Andros Townsend of Crystal Palace is ahead of him, doing the trick in 2016-17.

Son deserves a special mention for this goal he made against Burnley. He won the 2019/20 Budweiser Goal of the Season award, defying a phalanx of players starting from the Spurs' penalty area.

2. Aubameyang goal that lifted Arsenal over Manchester United

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang returned with a flourish when games resumed after a hiatus due to COVID-19. But there is perhaps nothing sweeter than leading Arsenal FC over Manchester United in November.

The Gabon captain steered his team to a 1-0 win over the Red Devils, ending their five-year wait for a Premier League away win.

Aubameyang was awarded a penalty in the second half. That decisive moment came when Paul Pogba stood on Hector Bellerin’s foot inside the area and he kept his cool to convert the spot-kick.

1. Zlatan Ibrahamovic, 39, still at top of his game

At 39, some question how long Zlatan Ibrahimovic will play football. Though that remains to be seen, the Swedish player continues to be at the top of his game.

It was evident when he scored a header from the edge of the box when Milan played Napoli in November. Check that out below.
