KEY POINTS

  • Prince Harry and Queen Elizabeth II made several appearances in various plays
  • Prince William and Princess Diana showed off their dance moves on various occasions
  • Meghan Markle is the most popular royal performer, and she is best known for her role on "Suits"

Kate Middleton made headlines after playing the piano during the Christmas carol concert she hosted, but more royals are just as talented as the duchess.

The Duchess of Cambridge surprised the ITV viewers when the network broadcast the "Royal Carols: Together at Christmas" carol concert. Middleton played the piano while Brit Award winner Tom Walker sang his single "For Those Who Can't Be Here."

Prince William's wife was flooded with praise because they were shocked that she could play the piano. However, Middleton is not the only talented royal. According to People, below are five more members of the firm who are as skilled and talented:

Princess Diana

Prince William and Prince Harry's mother loved to dance. In 1985, she surprised many when she stepped into the spotlight during a charity gala at the Royal Opera House and performed Billy Joel's "Uptown Girl." Princess Diana and Royal Ballet dancer Wayne Sleep choreographed and practiced secretly for the performance.

Prince Harry

The royal participated in various plays at school. Prince Harry took part in his school's nativity play in 1987. He dressed up in a festive red and green costume.

The following year, his role was upgraded to a shepherd. The Duke of Sussex didn't stop there. In 2003, he conquered the stage again when he acted in an Eton College production of "Much Ado About Nothing."

And Prince Harry and Prince William allegedly filmed cameo appearances in "Star Wars: The Last Jedi." However, it was cut because they were too tall for a 5'11" Stormtrooper.

Queen Elizabeth

Queen Elizabeth II and her younger sister, Princess Margaret, performed in pantomime plays when they were teenagers. It was a slapstick-style show, a family tradition around Christmas in Britain.

In 1944, the Queen performed in the 1944 staging of "Old Mother Red Riding Boots." She was almost unrecognizable in her full costume.

Prince William

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge showed off their dance moves when they visited Funafuti, Tuvalu, in 2012. When Prince William was as young as Prince George and Princess Charlotte, he was also caught on camera showing off his dance moves while in the start line for a race. He couldn't keep still and began dancing.

Prince William and Middleton's kids, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, seemed to have inherited their love for dancing. Both love to dance just like their parents and late grandmother, Princess Diana. In 2018, Princess Charlotte was caught showing off her adorable dance moves at Buckingham Palace during a celebration of the RAF centenary.

Meghan Markle

However, the most popular performer would be no other than the Duchess of Sussex, the outlet noted. Markle had a career in acting before she met and married Prince Harry. She was best known for her role on "Suits." She also appeared in the "Horrible Bosses" movie and on "Deal or No Deal."
