Two years after wrapping “Castle,” Nathan Fillion’s back on ABC in an all-new cop show, called “The Rookie.” This time around, instead of helping out the NYPD, he’s joining the LAPD as, like the title suggest, a rookie. His won’t be the only face fans will recognize when the series premieres tonight, though.

Here’s how you know the cast of ABC’s new Tuesday night show, “The Rookie.”

Nathan Fillion (John Nolan)

Aside from playing Richard Castle in the ABC drama for eight seasons, he was in the Ryan Reynolds sitcom, “Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place,” from 1998 to 2001. He also starred in the cult favorite, “Firefly,” for one season in the early 2000s, which was followed by the 2005 movie “Serenity.” Most recently, he was in “A Series of Unfortunate Events,” “Modern Family” and “American Housewife.”

Alyssa Diaz (Angela Lopez)

The actress has a big year in 2005, working on the flick “How the Garcia Girls Spent Their Summer” with America Ferrera and the late Elizabeth Peña, as well as starring on the soap opera, “As the World Turns.” Diaz had a quite a few guest roles on TV shows after that, but in 2011 she played a lead in ABC Family’s (now Freeform) “The Nine Lives of Chloe King.” She starred as Jasmine in the beloved one-season series, which also featured Skyler Samuels and Grey Damon. Most recently, she was on “Zoo” and “Ray Donovan.”

Richard T. Jones (Sergeant Wade Grey)

From 1999 to 2005, Jones starred as Bruce Van Exel on the CBS drama, “Judging Amy.” From there, he’s had roles on shows like “Girlfriends,” “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles,” “Hawaii Five-0” and, most recently,” “Santa Clarita Diet.”

Titus Makin (Jackson West)

The actor started making a name for himself with roles on musical shows and movies, like as a Warbler named David on “Glee,” from 2010 to 2012, a dancer on “Victorious” and as Mickey O’Malley, a lead in “A Cinderella Story: Once Upon a Song,” with Lucy Hale and Freddie Stroma. Makin was also in the short-lived CW series, “Star-Crossed,” in 2014, which also starred Aimee Teegarden and Matt Lanter. He’s also had roles on “Pretty Little Liars” and, recently, “The Path.”

Mercedes Mason (Capt. Zoe Anderson)

Since 2005, Mason’s had quite a few TV roles here and there, but her biggest role arrived in 2012, when she starred opposite Geoff Stults in Fox’s crime-dramedy, “The Finder,” for its one season. After that, she landed gigs on “666 Park Avenue,” “NCIS: Los Angeles” and “Fear the Walking Dead.”

Eric Winter (Tim Bradford)

After being on “Days of Our Lives” for a few years as Rex Brady in the early 2000s, Winter switched things up in 2007, with roles on ABC Family’s “Wildfire,” CBS’ “Viva Laughlin” and ABC’s “Brothers & Sisters.” He starred in “Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay,” the following, with John Cho and Kal Penn. When it comes to TV movies, he was in “Sundays at Tiffany’s” on Lifetime with Alyssa Milano in 2010 and Hallmark’s “Finding Santa” with Jodie Sweetin last year. He also worked on “The Mentalist,” “Witches of East End,” “Secrets & Lies” and “Rosewood.”

Melissa O’Neil (Lucy)

About 10 years after winning “Canadian Idol,” O’Neil started acting on TV instead of singing. She was in the 2015 drama, “This Life,” 2016’s “Rogue,” with Ashley Greene, starred in SyFy’s “Dark Matter” and, most recently, was in “iZombie” and “Condor.” She was also in Paul Feig’s recent film, “A Simple Favor,” with Anna Kendrick, Blake Lively and Henry Golding.

Afton Williamson (Talia Bishop)

With past roles on shows like “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit,” “Homeland,” “Blue Bloods,” “The Following,” “Elementary,” “Blindspot,” “Blacklist,” “Instinct” and “Shades of Blue,” Williamson is no stranger to the world of crime dramas.

“The Rookie” premieres on ABC on Tuesday at 10 p.m. EDT.
