"The Real" host Adrienne Bailon has welcomed her first baby with husband Israel Houghton through surrogacy.

The 38-year-old talk show host uploaded a photo of her newborn, Ever James, on her Instagram page Tuesday and wrote, "Ever James. For this child, we have prayed just to hear our baby cry; Skin to skin and face to face; Heart to heart and eye to eye..."

She continued, "Our baby boy is here & we are so in love! If you have followed our love story... you know that our journey to baby has been very challenging - But God is true to His word and His promises. We have quietly prayed while sitting on this most magnificent secret for the last 9 months."

Bailon emphasized her gratitude to God for the arrival of her child and added, "He is worth every tear, every disappointment, every delayed prayer, every IVF cycle, every miscarriage. Everything. All we feel is joy and overwhelming love & gratitude. Grateful to God, to our angel surrogate and to all of our friends and family who have stood with us for over 5 years on this journey. He's here and we have never been happier to lose sleep!"

Bailon and Houghton are married since 2016 and have been keeping mum about their pregnancy journey. In November last year, a social media user said their marriage is in "crisis" because they do not have kids yet. In reply, the former 3LW singer wrote, "Me happy with the man I chose with or without a baby — is a beautiful thing lol. You commenting this sounds like you are in crisis."

Her baby news garnered thousands of likes from followers, while friends and fans flocked to the comments section to congratulate the new mom.

"I am so beyond happy for you A!!! He is the luckiest little boy to have you both as his parents," Khloe Kardashian wrote. "You are going to be the most incredible mommy! I love you! Enjoy every second."

"The Real" co-host Garcelle Beauvais reposted Bailon's photo to her Instagram Story and wrote, "Her dream came true." She also took to the comments section of Bailon's Instagram page and said, "I couldn't be happier for Ade !!!!! Your prayers came true. lucky little boy."

Jeannie Mai Jenkins also reacted in the comments section and wrote, "HE IS HERE!!!! Lord thank you for this gift You spent quality time making for Israel and Ade."
